COMMERCIAL SECURITY RADAR + LIVE INVENTORY

Find commercial projects while security decisions may still be in play.

PermitPub collects current public records that can reveal commercial locations being built, opened, moved, remodeled, expanded, rebranded, or prepared for occupancy. Depending on the market and public source, those records may include alarm, access-control, camera, fire/life-safety, and low-voltage activity, along with tenant improvements, commercial buildouts, occupancy filings, sign permits, and new business licenses.

PermitPub filters obvious home-only noise, organizes the fields supplied by each source, and delivers matching records by CSV Monday through Friday.

These are filtered public-record sales signals, not appointments, enriched prospects, or confirmation that a company is currently shopping for a security vendor. Exact live record details remain locked until monthly access begins.

LIVE COMMERCIAL SECURITY INVENTORY

See what is changing in your territory now.

Commercial Security Radar includes both direct security-related filings and broader commercial-change signals. A permit that names access control or low voltage may be directly relevant. A tenant improvement, occupancy filing, sign permit, or new business license may reveal a location that still needs alarms, video, access control, fire/life-safety work, monitoring, or related services.

Use the live preview to confirm that PermitPub has current matching activity in the markets you work. The representative still decides which records deserve a call, visit, mailing, or further research.

WHAT THE FEED CAN REVEAL

Watch direct security work and the business changes that create security demand.

Direct security and low-voltage activity

Public descriptions may mention alarms, access control, cameras, card readers, low voltage, fire alarms, life-safety systems, monitoring, wiring, or related installation work. Availability and wording vary by source and market.

Buildouts, remodels, and occupancy

Tenant improvements, commercial interiors, changes of use, remodels, expansions, and occupancy filings can identify locations being prepared for employees, customers, equipment, inventory, or public access.

New operators and storefront changes

Sign permits, new business licenses, registrations, and opening-related records can reveal a new tenant, new operator, relocation, rebrand, or storefront preparing to open even when no security-specific permit is published.

FROM SIGNAL TO SALES CONVERSATION

Use the filing as a timely reason to investigate.

Prioritize the freshest and best-fit activity.

Start with current commercial records in the territory, then narrow by signal type, project value, source, or available contact fields.

Identify the likely buyer or project contact.

Use the source-provided business, owner, applicant, contractor, address, or other published fields as a starting point. Research missing decision-maker information when necessary.

Ask what has already been specified.

Determine whether alarms, access control, video, fire/life-safety, monitoring, cabling, and related work are already assigned or still open.

Follow the project while timing is useful.

Call, visit, mail, or monitor the location before the project becomes old news and the vendor list is fixed.

A filing can identify activity without proving that a vendor decision is open. Some direct security-related permits may already name an installer or contractor. PermitPub provides the timely source-backed signal; the representative qualifies the opportunity.

DEMONSTRATION RECORDS

See the kinds of records a commercial security representative can receive.

These are genuine PermitPub demonstration records shown separately from the live inventory above. Public sources provide different fields, so the examples intentionally show real variation in names, contacts, values, descriptions, and completeness. They are product examples, not the live records from the territory you searched.

A demonstration record may now be older than 21 days but met PermitPub's active-record rule when collected.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WORK A TERRITORY

Built from decades of business-to-business field sales.

“After more than 30 years selling business technology in the field, I know timing matters. A new tenant, buildout, occupancy filing, sign permit, or low-voltage project gives a representative a legitimate reason to investigate before the location is old news. I built PermitPub to do the repetitive public-record searching so your team can spend its time qualifying opportunities and selling.”

WHAT PERMITPUB DOES NOT PROVIDE

Know what the records can and cannot tell you.

QUICK ANSWERS

Know what access includes.

Does every record mean a company is shopping for a security vendor?

No. A record indicates current commercial activity worth evaluating. It does not prove that the business is shopping, that a budget exists, or that a vendor decision remains open.

Do all records explicitly mention alarms or access control?

No. Commercial Security Radar intentionally includes both direct security-related filings and broader signals such as tenant improvements, occupancy filings, sign permits, new business licenses, and commercial buildouts. Those broader records may reveal a location that deserves further research.

Do all records include a phone number or email address?

No. Contact fields are included only when the public source supplies them. A record may instead provide a location, business, owner, applicant, contractor, filing number, description, value, or source link.

Are the records exclusive?

No. Public records remain public, and standard PermitPub subscriptions are non-exclusive. Protected distribution is available only under a separate agreement.

Can I cancel a standard monthly plan?

Yes. Standard PermitPub plans renew month to month and can be canceled before the next renewal, subject to the current PermitPub terms.
