Service

PermitPub provides public-record sales signals, including permits, business licenses, registrations, sales-tax records, certificates of occupancy where available, market summaries, sample lead views, CSV exports, mapped tools, Lead Desk access, subscriptions, and custom feeds.

Public records and accuracy

Record data comes from public or third-party sources that can change, contain errors, omit fields, or become unavailable. PermitPub works to qualify and improve the data, but customers should verify important details before acting on a record. PermitPub does not guarantee contactability, sales outcome, permit volume, source availability, or that every public record creates a useful sales opportunity.

Permitted use

Paid PermitPub data is for the customer's internal sales, marketing, routing, and prospecting use. Do not resell, scrape, republish, bulk share, or redistribute subscription records without written permission.

Customers are responsible for lawful outreach, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, do-not-call, privacy, solicitation, licensing, and industry-specific rules that apply to their business. Do not use PermitPub data for harassment, doxxing, stalking, surveillance, illegal discrimination, or any unlawful purpose.

Subscriptions and custom purchases

Market subscriptions and custom feeds are priced on the checkout page or written order when access begins. Subscriptions renew until canceled through the Stripe billing path or a written support request that can be matched to the account. Standard subscription records are non-exclusive unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Account access and abuse

PermitPub may suspend or terminate access for payment failure, credential sharing, abusive scraping, resale or redistribution, attempts to bypass locked fields, unlawful use, or behavior that threatens the service, data sources, customers, or public-record subjects.

Exclusive access

Exclusive Permit Access requires a separate written agreement from PermitPub. Public prices, examples, and starting points are not binding exclusivity offers until PermitPub confirms the category, market, territory, duration, and fee in writing.

Unless a written agreement expressly says otherwise, exclusivity does not include nearby cities, adjacent counties, larger metro areas, historical data, resale rights, redistribution rights, guaranteed permit volume, guaranteed source availability, or categories outside the agreed scope.

Refunds and data-quality credits

PermitPub may replace or credit a record when it is a duplicate within the applicable delivery, was outside the stated active-age window when collected, was assigned outside the customer's selected market, materially conflicts with the cited public source, or clearly falls outside the customer's selected filters.

A record is not defective solely because a phone number or email address is unavailable, a decision-maker cannot be reached, the business is not interested, the location already has a vendor, a visit is unsuccessful, or the opportunity does not result in a sale, provided the delivered public record was otherwise accurate and within the selected criteria.

Warranty and liability

PermitPub is provided as a business-information service using changing public records. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond any written data-quality promise stated at purchase, and PermitPub is not liable for lost profits, failed outreach, unavailable sources, third-party changes, or indirect damages.
