How PermitPub Operates

I’m not going to dress this up. I spent 30 years as a street salesman, and I know what a bad lead list feels like. You pay for a thousand records, and half of them are renewals, corrections, or some burglar-alarm permit that’s worth nobody’s time. You drive across town for nothing. I built PermitPub so that doesn’t happen to you.

Here’s what goes on behind the screen. We pull from our permit sources six times a day, every day, into our own database. That’s not a once-a-week dump. It’s fresh data, refreshed all day long, so you’re looking at activity while it’s still warm. Nothing in our system is older than 21 days. We purge it. If a permit’s gone stale, it’s gone, because a cold lead helps no one and I’m not going to charge you for it.

And we filter. Hard. The routine renewals, the administrative junk, the corrections, and the tiny low-dollar stuff that’ll never put a dollar in your pocket all get stripped out before they ever reach you. What’s left is the real activity: somebody building, opening, remodeling, or putting serious money into a property. A reason to knock, call, or show up.

Every record we sell is sourced. You get the direct link to the filed permit, the permit number, the date, and who’s involved. You can check our work against the county’s own records. I want you to. That’s the difference between a lead and a guess.

I’m still selling for a living myself, so this is the tool I wish I’d had back when I was standing in line at the courthouse behind five other reps, hoping I’d get to the door first. Now you don’t have to stand in that line. The data does the digging. You do the selling.
